Hisar Mosque Review

Izmir Hisar Mosque is the largest mosque here. There are many worshippers who come to pray every day. The mosque is decorated with brilliant gold and the red wool carpet is very comfortable. However, when visiting it, we must wear trousers and women's headscarves.

I visited early in the morning and it was a solemn air.

The Hisar Mosque, the largest and oldest mosque in Izmir, has been known for hundreds of years, but it looks like it's being repaired all the time, so it's still in operation. I do see people worshipping it.

Mosque is a typical building structure, white pillars are very characteristic, tall four heels, when entering the interior need to take off shoes.

Where there are religious beliefs, architecture has its own characteristics. I don't know Islam, so I often see it from here by car.
