It's not easy to get to Hobbyton. It's more than three hours'drive from downtown Auckland. The nearby town is quite big. After having a meal in the town, I continued to drive to the scenic parking lot. The parking lot is easy to find, large and free. On the second floor of the ticket office is the restaurant: fast food, on the first floor is the Hobbit Travel Gift Shop. Made in China, the most characteristic product in the shop, is more expensive. Because the time was not right, I waited for an hour at the entrance of the scenic spot after buying the ticket. There was a special Hobbyton bus to pick up the ticket. Self-driving was not allowed to enter the scenic spot. The tour time was 1 hour and 45 minutes. During the day, 79 New Yorkers were one person and the children were free. There are young guides on the bus to explain the whole journey in English. The speed of walking is very slow, the artificial landscape is exquisite, and the natural scenery is beautiful. At the end of the tour, they will take free drinks to Hobitun Restaurant. The cold and delicious ginger beer will relieve a lot of heat.
