Horse Guards Parade Review

The Royal Cavalry Guards Parade is the venue for a major London ceremony. Every year, the Queen's birthday, the honor guard is paraded here, dressed in red robes, and the majestic cavalry make up a landscape here. At the parade, the flags (various royal armies and bands) will step over the cavalry guard and display their uniforms and banners.

One summer weekend, we came to this attraction to introduce our American friends to the reasons why the cavalry guards formed and what activities are held each year, an impressive and iconic location worth seeing.

Located next to Whitehall, not far from Big Ben and the Prime Minister's Office in Downing Street. You can see it on the bustling main road. Cavalry guards in shiny armor and red uniforms stand guard at the gate. Tourists can take photos without offending the guards. Sometimes you can encounter a changing ceremony, which is relatively simple, but the soldiers are also meticulously completed. Crossing the white building on the street, the back suddenly bright, a large sandy ground, is the school field, that is, the cavalry parade ground. These are free visits. If you want to see the museum, Ma Ping, it seems to have to charge extra.

After leaving Buckingham Palace, we walked through James Park to the Royal Knights'parade ground, which covers an enormous area of sand and gravel, and is rarely seen in an international metropolis. Just in time for the Royal Knights'job-changing performance at 15 p.m. every day, we watched a simple job-changing ceremony in the crowded crowd. It's the first time I've seen a cavalry change, but the whole performance is relatively simple.

It is incomplete to go to London without seeing the changing of the cavalry guard. We were lucky to pass the area before 10am on Sunday and were honoured to see this wonderful traditional ceremony. Not to be missed!
