Huaca del Sol y la Luna Review

After visiting Machu Picchu, one of the surrounding attractions, this is a place with relatively few tourists, the Sun Temple and the Moon Temple are also important places for local sacrifices, and the scale is quite large.

The Temple of the Sun and the Temple of the Moon are a temporary attraction in Gasai after our trip to Machu Picchu. Although it is not so spectacular and visually tired compared to Machu Picchu, it is also a historical attraction that feels shocking.

We visited Machu Picchu and Mount Huayna Picchu. It was suggested that we pass the Moon Temple when we descended in Huayna Picchu. We regret it! The Moon Temple and the Great Cave were nice to see, but not really amazing. The detour was very heavy (very steep downhill, then walk back to Machu Picchu again). So when we finally got back to Machu Picchu, we were exhausted and regretted having lost all of our precious Machu Picchu day! So if you have a day in Machu Picchu, it is good to visit Huayna Picchu because you have always had a good view of the MP relics. But on the standard route up the mountain, avoid the Moon Palace roundabout!

Our boat stopped at Sarawari, about 30 minutes by taxi from this place. Then waited about 15 minutes, waiting for the start of the English group, followed by a 45 minute trip. Worth it. Some people don't get to that place by not going, but once they go, it's not particularly difficult.
