Huangyan Cave, there is a very cool name: Triassic limestone lonely peak. To be honest, I can't understand it. . . . . . A Triassic limestone lonely peak standing in the karst valley, the front of the cave is a slope, the back of the mountain is continuous, the peaks are undulating. The cave entrance is southwest, the relative height is 15 meters, the cave is divided into upper and lower two floors, and the cave hall has branches in the west and south. In 1964, two ancient human skull fossils were excavated. One of the adults was quite intact. According to the carbon 14 measurement year, it is 11930±200 years ago, which is a late Homo sapiens. There are 30 species of the fossil fauna of Huangyandong, which belong to the giant panda-sword-tooth fauna in southern China. The dating is 10,000 years ago, reflecting the subtropical ecological environment at that time. The cave cultural relics represented by Fengkai Huangyan Cave and Yangchun Duzai Site in Lingnan and South China are precious materials for studying the cultural outlook of this region about 10,000 years ago and at an earlier stage.
