In the early eighteenth century, the Imperial Palace was built. In the four years of Jialong, Ruan Dynasty (1805 A.D.), large-scale expansion and renovation began, and the existing scale was built for decades. The whole building is sitting in the north and facing the south. The architectural style is basically modeled on the Forbidden City (Palace Museum) in Beijing. The outer pool surrounding the imperial building, also known as the capital, is a French style of architecture. The city pool is square with a circumference of 9950 meters and surrounded by a moat. The moat is 22.8 meters wide and 4 meters deep. All the walls are made of bricks, 8 meters high and 20 meters thick. During the War of Resistance Against France and the United States, many buildings were destroyed, and later they were gradually repaired as they were.
