A little out of the way from central Sultanahmet, but well worth the walk over. The museum includes a rotating collection of temporary curations, drawn largely from historic Istanbul but also branching at times into other parts of the country or even other themes. Despite a very classroom atmosphere to the entrance of the space, where a general chronological timeline of the development of photography is displayed as a permanent fixture along the corridor, the level of both the photography displayed and the skill with which the exhibitions are curated are extremely high.
