Jain Temples Review

Built in 1867, the temple of Jainism teaches Digmbe, is one of the most beautiful buildings in Kolkata. Digmbe Temple is magnificent. The garden in front of the temple has mermaid, Macedonian soldiers, Arab nobles and other carvings. Here is also the statue of the Jain prophet Sinta Lunato, placed on a silver lotus seat with diamonds on his forehead.

Jainism is a branch of Hinduism, and its main god is a Hindu god. The temple is not as numerous and colorful as the Hindu temple, but the temple sculptures are also beautifully done. Entering also requires taking off shoes and wearing long trousers to show respect for the gods.
