The palace itself has no special features, but it just floats on the water and is really interesting. Passers-by have a chance to see Amberburg, even if it's inaccessible, because it's on the way downtown to Amberburg. The water palace gives the impression that it is not built on the island, but half submerged in the water, like a reservoir impounding a city, leaving only the tallest palace to emerge, and even a little sad.

The palace of water is also a site of an ancient Indian dynasty. The scale of the palace building is quite large. You can see many Indian characteristic image sculptures. The building itself is quite interesting. It is a rare place to understand Indian architectural culture.

[Location] It is recommended to stop on the way back to the city from Amber Fort and take a photo. [Background] This was originally the summer palace of the Rajasthan royal family. Because there are many birds on the back mountain, the royal nobles used to come here to hunt birds. It is said that there are three floors under the water and two floors on the water. After the royal privileges were cancelled, it was also for rich people to open parties and so on, but now in order to protect cultural relics, it is not allowed to be used like this. [View] The reflection is beautiful, with the landscape in the background, it feels like oil painting. Occasionally, birds skimmed the water, or stopped on the lake near the water. [Surrounding] There are many small vendors by the lake, selling colorful snacks, or chasing you to ask if you want to take pictures, just refuse. There is a platform in the middle of the lake, you can not take pictures of the fence; You can also cross the barbed wire, but the line of sight is lower, and pay attention to safety.

The water palace was built in 1746 on the outskirts of Jaipur, and was originally built by the Rajasthan monarch in an artificial lake to escape the heat. It was later used as a luxury hotel and there will be luxury yachts to pick up and drop off guests. Now the palace is no longer open to the public. When the weather is good, the reflection in the lake is still beautiful. Don't look at the water close, it stinks and the fish is sliced.

Jal Mahal, built in the center of the lake, has a unique idea. The palace, like floating on the water for summer, is located on the halfway from Jaipur to Amber Castle. The palace is not open. I don't know how luxurious it is. I can only stand by the lake and look at it from afar.

The structure is beautiful to see, an ancient Palace in the middle of a water body! A must visit place and you have to take a pic here if you are in Jaipur. Besides looking at this structure, there is nothing much to do. You can feed the fishes, but I didn't even see one, maybe because it was mid summer day. Sadly no cafe to sit and enjoy the beauty of this place. Surroundings not very clean. It's on the way to Amer Fort so you won't miss it!

it is place that you can visit and touch tick off from your list. it doesn't require much of your time. there's nothing much to do here beside sitting outside near the fence looking at it and chatting with your travel buddies. All this place can offer you is the environment to talk or just sit peacefully. A half hour is enough. The place can be easily reached by rickshaw or ola/uber. It does get lonelier at night. I'd recommend visiting before 10 pm.
