The Botanical Garden is a beautiful triangular garden on 17 acres with rare continental plants and a greenhouse located in the Palermo area of Buenos Aires, Argentina. It is also known as "Jardin Botanico Carlos Thays". It was declared a national monument in 1996. It has about 5,500 plants, trees and shrubs, as well as numerous sculptures, monuments and five greenhouses. The garden is divided into French garden, Roman garden, American garden, Argentine garden, Asian enclave, European enclave, African enclave, Oceanian enclave and other parts, close to the subway station "Plaza Italia", surrounded by many historical attractions, zoos and monuments.
