Jesuit Church (German: Jesuitenkirche St. Franz Xaver), full name of St. Francisco Sabrio Church of the Jesuit, is a church named after St. Francis Sabrio, located in the centre of Lucerne, on the left bank of the Royce River. This is the first large Baroque Church in Switzerland, built between 1666 and 1677. Michael Beer, Michael Thumb, Heinrich Mayer and Christopher Vogler priests participated in the design of the church. The church was built opposite the old city hall across the Royle River. The two prominent and representative vaults outside the church were renovated in the mid-18th century and were very beautiful. The interior decoration is gorgeous, especially the red marble decoration on the white background. It is dazzling. Especially the altar decorated with red marble is luxurious and sacred.
