The quiet alleys on both sides of the archway street, two or three hundred meters in length, are the gathering place of the old officials and literati. There are many legendary bricks at the door of the big family (such as Suwu Shepherd, Eight Immortals Crossing the Sea), suitable for careful viewing, which is a good art work.

Adi Lane is an east-west alley, the alley is not wide, about four or five meters. Adi is the meaning of "Adifudi", which advertises the residential buildings here, and has the first-class taste in the city. The houses in Jiadi Lane are basically traditional Chaozhou architectural style. Most of the houses here are open, and there is a stone plaque embedded above the main entrance, or a surname, or a status symbol. This was once the place where Chaozhou city-shangjia lived, which interprets Chaozhou's past and present lives. Although many houses have been mottled and old, they still have a different charm.

It is a history of Chaozhou houses in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. It is the residence of local merchants and official residences. It is very useful for understanding the local culture.
