Tianjin Jingyuan, founded in 1921, is located at No. 70 Anshan Road, Heping District, Tianjin, covering an area of about 3016 square meters, construction area of about 2,900 square meters, is a key cultural relics protection unit in the country, is an important site in special historical period. It was once the place where the last emperor Fuyi lived and one of the important cultural sites in Chinese history. Jingyuan was originally named dry garden, and later renamed "jingyuan", taken from Zhuge Liang's "jing to cultivate body, frugal to raise virtue", to show the owner high self-responsibility, indifferent fame and fortune. The park is built with a brick and wood structure two-story building, integrating Chinese and Western architectural styles. During the War of Resistance Against Japan, Jingyuan served as the command of the Japanese army and was later taken over by the Kuomintang government. During the War of Liberation, Jingyuan became the military command of the People's Liberation Army.
