Jinsha Temple is located in Chengdu Zaojunmiao Street, north facing south, near Caoshi Street. Originally named Huaguang Temple, it was repaired during Qianlong years. The temple originally offered a mud-plastic thousand-hand Guanyin, Guanyin holding sands. It is legendary that the fire was extinguished in the early years of Tongzhi, so when the expansion of Tongzhi for three years, in order to commemorate the merit of Guanyin Dashi, the name Huaguang Temple was changed to Jinsha Temple.

The environment is good and very characteristic. It is good to go shopping on weekends.
