Jiuyan Bridge is located in Jinjiang District, Chengdu City, the ancient name Hongji Bridge, also known as Zhenjiang Bridge, was built in Ming Wanli 21 years (1593), by the then Zhengfu Yu Yilong. The large arch bridge with stone railings and stone bridges is long 4 width 3 height 3 feet, and there are 9 holes under. In the Qing Dynasty Qianlong 53 (1788) by Governor Li Shijie repaired, the name was changed to Jiuyan Bridge. Qianlong 55 (1790) was rebuilt. In 1988, a new cross-steel cement prefabricated bridge was built on the west side of Jiuyan Bridge. From the base point of the bridge, it was about 120 meters long and 25 meters wide. The north and lower end of the bridge had a car passage through the east and west, forming a semi-vertical cross bridge. The ancient Jiuyan Bridge was removed in the winter of 1992.
