The bridge is located above Singapore's Marina Bay, a bridge connecting Merlion Park to the Marina Arts Centre. He was built in 2015 to mark the 50th anniversary of Singapore's independence and has now become a new landmark in Singapore's Marina Bay. The bridge, thought to be conceived by Singapore's founding father Lee Kuan Yew, was built to mark the 60th anniversary of Singapore's founding, and also provides an uninterrupted walking path between Merlion Park and Marina Square, which opened on March 29, 2015 for the state funeral procession of the late Lee Kuan Yew. With three spans on two pillars, innovative engineering techniques have been used to make the bridge unnecessary for vertical support from above. Before 2015, people had to walk on the sidewalks of Marina Avenue from Merlin Park to reach the other end, Marina Avenue, and vice versa. Thanks to the Golden Bridge, it is now much easier to cross the Singapore River to reach these two tourist attractions. This curved bridge offers a great river view, Marina Bay Beach, Singapore Ferris wheel and more. It is a great place to walk and take pictures.
