Kaiyuan Temple is located in Kaiyuan Road, Chaozhou City, Guangdong Province. Built in Tang Xuanzong Kaiyuan 26 years (738), Yuan Dynasty called "Kaiyuan Wanshou Temple", Ming Dynasty into "Kaiyuan Town Guochan Temple", after the Qing Dynasty "Kaiyuan Town Guochan Temple" and "Kaiyuan Temple", the temple since the establishment, the past generations have been repaired. The temple covers an area of 20,000 square meters, and the entire temple retains the layout of the Tang Dynasty, and condensed the architectural art of Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties, and the incense is full. During the "Cultural Revolution", Kaiyuan Temple was seriously damaged, and in 1982 overseas Chinese and Hong Kong and Macao compatriots donated funds to carry out comprehensive maintenance, so that Kaiyuan Temple returned to its former style.
