The staircaise was built in 1860 for the Abraham Solomon de Kamondo who was a Jewish Ottoman Banker .These staircaise have a hexagonal shape and they are a special example of baroque and art nouveau styles. You can climb the Kamondo Stairs to reach Sankt Georg Austrian High School and Galata Tower.

When you go to the tower at night, you don't want to pass by. It belongs to the pocket type. It's meaningless to see it intentionally.

It is an elegant staircase. It seems to appear in a classic movie. However, it was quite steep, so I climbed slowly without overdoing it. It was a staircase used by citizens on a daily basis.
