Kamondo Stairs Review

This step is full of poetic feeling.

The staircaise was built in 1860 for the Abraham Solomon de Kamondo who was a Jewish Ottoman Banker .These staircaise have a hexagonal shape and they are a special example of baroque and art nouveau styles.You can climb the Kamondo Stairs to reach Sankt Georg Austrian High School and Galata Tower.

It's a beautiful place. The buildings are very distinctive.

The stairs are very high and there are many steps.

It is an elegant staircase. It seems to appear in a classic movie. However, it was quite steep, so I climbed slowly without overdoing it. It was a staircase used by citizens on a daily basis.
