Karangahape Road Review

We took the city bus, got off near Grafton Bridge and walked along this legendary Heritage Trail. We took a small guidebook that pointed out the historic buildings on both sides of the road. There were banks, many retail stores, hotels, apartments and churches. One interesting setting is the women's bathroom, which serves a large number of female customers with children. This modern building replaces the 1920s architecture. Some of the shops were built in the late 19th century.

Lalang's black pizza road is also more lively at night

K Road is more authentic than Queen Street, for example, without Prada and Gucci, it is more like a multicultural, class and identity melting pot where everyone can find their own things. But I don't walk around here at night and feel safer with my boyfriend. It’s not bad to have dinner here. The red bus of the city link has a stop here. It’s a cheaper and convenient way to get here.

You can call it non-mainstream or pluralistic. Once red-light district, showing a different style of the past, both sides of the street have a variety of high-end fashion shops, retro collections stores and contemporary art exhibition halls, as well as exotic food. Interested friends can also visit Symonds Street Cemetery, one of the oldest cemeteries in Auckland.

I went there for the first time. There were so many people there. I like it very much. The scenery is good. There are many interesting places. I must go there again if I have the chance.
