Uspenski Cathedral, the largest Greek Orthodox Church in Scandinavia, was designed by Russian architect A.M. Gornostayev on Katajanokka Island. It was renovated on the centenary in 1868. Looking from a distance to Usbenski Church, you can immediately recognize its red brick spire. In addition, it has a bridge to the market Square near the port. Behind the altar of the church there is a pure gold wall with four pillars polished from a single granite. The project is huge. The ingenious building of the red brick spire is one of its characteristics, and it is connected with the bridge of Caupadoli Square. In the church is the Finnish hero Marshal Karl Gustav Mannheim, who led the army against the Soviet invasion. Switzerland died on January 28, 1951. The body was returned to China and buried in churches. When the body was transported back to China, the whole country was sent up and down the road. Its grandeur was unprecedented in Finland.
