The Kilauea lighthouse is actually quite small, somewhat unexpected. However, the lighthouse is also very special in such a scenery. Between the mountains and the sea, the red and white lighthouse is particularly beautiful.

5/5OutstandingOriginal TextKilauea Lighthouse is located at the northernmost end of the lovely island. It was built in 1913 and is 52 feet (15 meters) high. It is a beacon guiding ships. This is the perfect place to photograph the rugged northern coastline and the dark blue Pacific Ocean, or the site of the Kilauea Nature Reserve, which protects Hawaiian seabirds.
