Most areas of the park are open air with a net above, so be aware if it will rain! It’s fun to walk around here, see both butterflies and flowers that butterflies like. There are also water turtles and fish. Plants and trees are in the garden view, there are concrete paths (so great for wheelchair-bound people), and creeks and waterfalls. Great attractions in Kuala Lumpur. After a park tour, there is also a room with insects and other arthropods (spiders, moths, millipedes, etc.) to remind visitors that although butterflies are the easiest to see and photograph, they are not the only insects! I don’t know why others find this place boring, but I had a great time with my friends! There are thousands of butterfly species and the way the space is arranged will make you feel like you are crossing a jungle oasis full of waterfalls and lush plants. We spent more than an hour there and saw butterflies, Japanese salmon, and all kinds of fish, and a turtle in a fish tank. Finally, they even had a museum showing thousands of different types of insects and butterflies from around the world. There is a big park around here that is very nice inside and worth the rest of the day to visit. As a good place to get out of the city, it is highly recommended as you can get close to nature.
