Lake Monde is located in the Salzkammergut Lake District, is one of the five famous lake areas in Salzkammergut region. The plane of the lake area is similar to a bright moon, so Lake Monde is called the Moon Lake. Moon Lake is like an emerald in the Alps. The lovely huts next to the lake reflect the beauty of the moon lake. The crystal clear lake water and the forest in autumn are perfectly combined here. No wonder many scenes in the movie "Sound of Music" are filmed here. Early morning drive to, along the way the fields, beautiful countryside, style town, lake and mountains, beautiful.
