We walked to the village of Greenmelwald, where we stopped for a sneaky drink and went down the mountain to the valley, stopping by the icy river, soaking our feet in the hot water, and returning down the path to the forest to see the more spectacular waterfalls. We returned to Laut Brennan about 11 miles. Every mile is worth it and there is breathtaking views at every turn. If you want to shorten the walking distance, you can add more cable cars, but you will miss a lot.
