Leifeng Pagoda is located on Leifeng of Xizhaoshan in Hangzhou. The old Leifeng Pagoda collapsed in 1924 and was rebuilt. The newly built Leifeng Pagoda is the first colored copper carved Pagoda in China. Leifeng Xizhao is one of the ten sceneries of West Lake. Leifeng New Tower was built on the site, retaining the pavilion-like structure before the old tower was burned down. It completely adopted the style, design and size of the rebuilding in the early Southern Song Dynasty. The legends of White Snake and Leifeng Pagoda are the most popular legends about Leifeng Pagoda. The legendary characters Xuxian, Bainiangzi and Fahai also add color to Leifeng Pagoda. It's convenient to come here by bus. It's better to walk by the West Lake.
