Lenins mausoleum is a must visit when in Moscow. Lenins persevered body still lays inside the mausoleum, but probably not for long. Come here early as lines get long and it closes everyday at 1pm! The visit is totally free and worth it to see one of the most important people in Russia's history.

Lenin's tomb is a famous building in Moscow. Located on the west side of the Red Square, built of red granite and black feldspar. The remains of Lenin, the proletarian revolutionary mentor, are placed in a crystal coffin inside the building, covered with the Soviet flag. The face and hands are illuminated by specially made lights, clear and serene. In 1994, Lenin's tomb was recognized by UNESCO as a "world historical and cultural heritage".

On the west side: Lenin's tomb (where Lenin's body is laid), the Kremlin's red wall. There are 12 tombstones between Lenin's tomb and the Kremlin's red wall, including Stalin, Bozhlenev, etc. On the south-central side: Vasily Cathedral. The biggest feature of the church building is that any side is positive, so from any perspective, the church has no front, side, or back. North side: National Museum of Historical Quality, built in 1873, is a landmark in Moscow. The entrance to the Red Square on the east side of the museum is the central point of Moscow (0 km), from which all the miles are calculated. East side: Gum department store body, the oldest department store in Moscow, is also one of the world's top ten department stores. The Kremlin is one of the world's largest buildings and one of the world's cultural heritage. The Kremlin Museum in Moscow has been formed for about 300 years. With the development of history, the complex contains many church faces, bell towers and historical building museums. It is also the place where the Russian president works, so the security is very strict. Will there be a strict security check before entering?

Originally, when listening to the guide's introduction in Red Square, I was dizzy by the cold wind and decided to give up going to Lenin's tomb because there was still a long queue. But think of all the people here, we must go to see ah! So they queued slowly past the tombstones of famous Soviet heroes, including Stalin's, and were about to enter Lenin's tomb. It was only when I really went inside that I found it very solemn and quiet. The whole interior was very dark. There were dark red lights around it, shining brightly on Lenin's face above his coffin. Nearly a century later, it seems that I am still sleeping in front of my eyes. It was very exciting to see all this. Every visitor can only enter and leave in order, not stay in the tomb.
