Lhasa River, known as Jiqu in Tibetan, means "Happy River", "Happy River" and is located in the south-central part of Tibet. Originated in the north of the middle part of the Nianqing Tanggula Mountains, Robrula flows through Mozhugongka County, Dazi County, and finally through Lhasa City, which converges into the Yarlung Zangbo River in the southern suburbs of Lhasa City. The main stream of the Lhasa River is a huge "S" type, extending from northeast to southwest with a total length of 568 kilometers and a basin area of 31,760 square kilometers. It is one of the five main tributaries of the Yarlung Zangbo River. Most of the peaks on both sides of the Lhasa River are between 3600 and 5500 meters, which is one of the highest rivers in the world. The climate here is mild, the terrain is flat, the soil is thicker, the water source is abundant, the soil is better, the basin has rich plateau animals and plants and geothermal resources, is one of the main grain-producing areas in Tibet.
