Liangyeshan, commonly known as the top of Liangshan Mountain, has been the symbol of Wuping since ancient times. It is known as "Liangyexianshan" and occupies the crown of "Eight Landscapes of Wuping". It is located in the northeastern part of Wuping County Town, the junction of Yongping, Zhongbao, Wudong and Chengxiang townships. It is the junction of the southernmost end of Wuyi Mountains and the northernmost end of Nanling Mountains in Guangdong Province. At 1538.4 meters above sea level, it is the highest peak in Wuping. Liangye Mountain is a magnificent mountain with interdependent mountains and rivers, beautiful scenery, many scenic spots and historic sites, including canyons, dangerous peaks, cliffs, deep pools, streams, strange rocks, dense forests and many other most spectacular, with more than 30 waterfalls of different sizes, different postures, dangerous scenery, lasting nearly ten miles, both sides of the canyon are sometimes covered by dense forests, and sometimes the cliffs stand up, amazing. The highest ancient mother stone, standing on the top of the mountain, seems to be faltering and has not fallen for thousands of years, its dangerous witnesses are all frightened. The spring water and groundwater in Liangye Mountain are distributed from the foot of the mountain to the top of the mountain. It is an important water conservation area in the border area of Fujian, Guangdong and Jiangxi, and one of the important sources of the Meijiang River. It raises 70 (%) of the county's population.
