The San Sono Library was built in the 16th century on the orders of the Procurator General of St. Mark's to donate the Roman Cardinal to the city's Latin and Greek codes, the rooms were open to the public and included in the entrance ticket to St. Mark's Square. The museum includes a great gallery with works by Venetian masters.
