Lingqu, anciently known as Qin Drilling Canal, Zero Canal, Douhe River, Xing'an Canal, Xianggui Canal, is a great project created by the working people of ancient China. It is located in Xing'an County, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, and was cut into navigation in 214 BC. Lingqu flows from east to west, linking the ocean river (the source of the Xiangjiang River, from south to north) to the west of Xing'an County and the Darong River (the source of the Lijiang River, from north to south) to the west of Xing'an County. It is one of the oldest canals in the world and has the reputation of "the pearl of the world's ancient water conservancy architecture".
