Loboc Town is perhaps the second largest town on the island except Tabilaran, and the church of San Pedro (Loboc San Pedro Church/Museo De Loboc), built in 1602, is one of the oldest churches on the island. The 2013 earthquake collapsed as famous as the church's long history and an interesting story about her, about people deciding to build a bridge on the Loboc River next to the church, and don't know which missing friend designed it. When halfway through construction, workers found the bridge facing the church and had to be demolished if it was built again, so work could be stopped.
