If you're snorkeling it's just one species of fish you'll see... Our hotel activity centre recommended a three hour journey to Lana Bay and Nui Beach (because they apparently feature the cleanest, most beautiful water among all the Phi Phi islands). The water is turquoise, and you'll end up spotting a lot of sargeant majors (yellow fish with black stripes), and not much of anything else. However, it is still one of the better spots to go snorkeling or canoeing.
