Los Angeles River Review

Very long river running through the whole area. Often does not have any water, so just an empty concrete culvert. Scene of much filming. Homeless folks live along it. There are probably some interesting areas, but I have never seen them. Still a landmark.

It's an adventure along the Los Angeles river. Bike paths are awesome. Best time is in the evening

The L.A. River has been featured in tons of movies and music videos and is much of a feature of the city as the Hollywood Sign. Rent bikes and bike along the river's path for an active day outdoors where you'll bike through several different L.A communities. There are benches along the river to sit and rest and it's a nice path to walk as well if you'd prefer a stroll to a bike ride. Definitely worth checking out.

Found some sweet graffiti in a tunnel off of the LA River

Grease, Italian Job, Gone in 60 seconds...all their iconic car chase scenes were filmed at the LA river. Perfect place for a photo op and definitely a famous LA spot to check out
