Madina Tripoli Review

Apparently, groupmate Diskawa was talking about the Lebanese city of Tripoli, not the Libyan capital of Tripoli.

The old town dates back to the 14th and 15th centuries in Mamuruk. It is mostly very narrow paths, markets, bathrooms, Islamic universities, and some old houses. The craftsmen here still retain the crafts they have done for centuries, such as tailoring, soap making, jewelry making, copper making.

In far north Africa, there is a place near the Mediterranean Sea called Libya. According to ancient Greek mythology, on the banks of the Nile, Ili gave birth to Zeus a son, Upafos, who grew up to marry Menfis, and gave birth to his daughter, Libia. The Libyan local is named after her because the daughter of Upaphus once had that name.
