Margaret Island (Margitsziget) Review

Great day out, loved the free animal zoo, good food options, easy to get too from centre.

The island on the Danube is located on the north side of the city. The whole island also has two bridges and land connections, different from the mountains on the west side and the high-rise buildings on the east side. The island is more forested and very quiet.

Margaret Island or Margit Szitget, an island in the middle of the Danube that has everything for you. Travel by tram 4/6 sziget station, you can walk inside. On a good day There will be a lot of people because there are zoos, fountains, hot springs, churches, restaurants, hostels, bars, and activities that it should be another favorite of Hungarians and tourists.

A small island in the heart of the Danube River in Budapest, located in the middle of the Margaret Bridge, has a professional island-round runway, so people who exercise often come here to run. It was snowing when I went, so there were not many people on the island. It would be more fun to come here in spring and summer.
