Maritime Museum of Dubrovnik Maritime Museum was founded in 1941. Its original purpose was to hold exhibitions on "Dubrovnik's Maritime Route". In 1987, it became the branch of the Dubrovnik Museum and was rebuilt after the 1979 earthquake. The Museum has over 4000 exhibits, mainly reflecting the navigational history of Dubrovnik and its surrounding areas. The Museum has two floors, including cannons, navigation logs, anchors, marine medicines and other rich exhibits.
