Auschwitz concentration camp, one of the labor camps and extermination camps established during Nazi Germany, known as the "death factory", its site is located in the small town of Auschwitz in southern Poland, more than 300 kilometers from the Polish capital Warsaw, and 60 kilometers southwest of Krakow, Poland's second largest city. About 1.1 million people were killed in the camp, the vast majority of them Jews, and when we arrived that day, the weather was sombre as if we were in the mood at the moment.
