Easily accessible at the southern part of Singapore CBD and north of Marina Bay, and a 5 minute stroll from 'Raffles Place' MRT station. Often crowded in the day and evenings with tourists and locals, though lesser during Covid19 period. There are several cafes and restaurants at Merlion Park, thought the cheaper options are just a stroll away towards the MRT stations and other nearby attractions. No admission fees, though there is option of paying for a Singapore River ferry tour that includes a stop in front of Merlion statue.Best experienced during sunrise or sunset period. For evening visits, optional to stay to see the Marina Bay Sands light show opposite (2-3 shows a night, usually at 8pm and 9pm+, depending on day and season).*note that Marina Bay Sands light show is currently suspended during Singapore circuit breaker semi-lockdown.
