Visitors can learn about the history of navigation and some of the great ships, including the Titanic, Lusitania, slavery and smuggling. Some of them are well laid out and set up, while others are not particularly logical and chronological.

I came to the museum mainly for the Titanic exhibition as I find Titanic fascinating - it did not disappoint! Very informative and follows the journey of the ship being built, the voyage, people on board, the events as they unfurled, the aftermath and items on show since finding the wreckage. I loved reading the stories about individual people and families on board (even brought a tear to my, especially the letter a child had written for her father) and reading the telegrams sent and received by Carpathia.

If you are interested in the sea, be sure to come here. I visited here for about 3 hours. Started with the slave exhibition on the top floor. It was an eye-opener! Then there was the Titanic story, including the survivors' stories and many personal details about the passengers and crew. And a very interesting part is about children who are transported from orphanages to other places to start a new life. Many of them were told that their parents were dead or they were abandoned, but many years later they found out that none of them were true. These are some heartbreaking stories.

The Merseyside Marine Museum opened in 1980. It vividly tells the story of the sailing history of Liverpool with a large number of pictures. The Museum has four floors and has many exhibits on immigration, slave trade, World War II and shipbuilding history. After visiting the exhibition hall, you can see the four floors of the museum, where you can see the scenery of the downtown area of Liverpool. Every Tuesday and Wednesday, at 10:30, 11:30 and 14:30, there are free guided tours of old wharf sites, which are situated underground in Liverpool One and must be booked in advance. The history of trade in Europe is the history of human catastrophe. From Africa to Asia, it is a bloody history.

The Maritime Museum is also an important part of the cultural area of the Liverpool Pier Museum. As a port city, many of the exhibits in the Maritime Museum of Liverpool have an inseparable relationship with ships and ports. There are many instruments related to the Liverpool Port after the Industrial Revolution. Anyway, the most brilliant trade level of the city during this period, the entire Maritime Museum and some ship models are also very realistic, very suitable for children to come and grow their knowledge.

The Merseyside Maritime Museum is located on the Bank of the Liverpool River. It has three floors. The first floor is a souvenir shop, the second floor is the Titanic model, and the third floor is the introduction of the history of the sailing of Liverpool. The focus of the visit is the Titanic, which is made in Liverpool. It represents the most prosperous and tragic period of the shipbuilding industry in Liverpool.
