It is speculated that Gross Cathedral was built during the Galolin Dynasty and became a symbol of Zurich with its unique twin towers. At 6 pm, the bells of Gross Cathedral will ring. The first bells will be the sign of the arrival of spring. The oldest part of the cathedral is the church tomb, built from the end of the 1st century to the early 12th century, the rest of the building was built during the Roman Crusades, and the interior statues are works from the 12th century. Now the cathedral has become part of the seminary of the University of Zurich. The 16th century Reformer Zriwen was here to give a speech, advocating work without forgetting prayer.
