Monserrat Review

Buenos Aires was born in the Monserrat neighborhood. In the 16th century, the Spanish colonists built Buenos Aires from the present Monserrat area. Parliament, churches and museums were built with the center of Plaza de Mayo. Monserrat is the historical Buenos Aires.

The capital's birthplace was also the earliest neighbourhood of the Spanish colonial period, with many colonial buildings.
