Centenary Monument Review

Amy and McDonald's intersection has a not-so-large park, which is close to the seafront and a short walk along the English Walkway to see the towering monument. The white monument is very tall due to the relationship of the surrounding green belt, and the statues above will occasionally attract many pigeons to dot it together.

The 100-year-old monument (Monument du Centenaire) stands in Albert I's garden, which was built to commemorate the Nice Act of France issued on February 4, 1793. The monument was built in 1896 and at the top of the monument is a statue of the Victory Goddess with wings, holding a wine bottle in one hand and a gold cup in the other. There is a group of statues on the pedestal that means Nice's return to France. In 1860, Napoleon III (Napoleon III, 1803-1873) and the Kingdom of Sardinia (Kingdom of Sardinia), Nice belonged to France again, so there were three figures on the monument: 1793, 1893 and 1860. As a centenary monument, the fourth number 1960 was added to the 1960. The surrounding scenery is beautiful.
