One of the world's three major glaciers, the World Natural Heritage Site, is well-deserved. The glaciers have been compressed for hundreds of years, exuding a wonderful blue luster, and the snow on the top of the Andean mountain and the green woods by the lake constitute a wonderful picture. Moreno glaciers complement the blue Argentine flag, the best blue ice sculptures nature has created over the years. The glacier's texture is clear and seemingly static, but the heavy snowfall in the Andes keeps the glacier growing and moving at an average annual speed of 100-200 meters. Moreno glaciers can be seen up close on cruise ships.
