Gongga Mountain is located on the eastern edge of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, located at the boundary of Kangding and Luding counties in Sichuan Province. It is the main peak of the snowy mountains of the Hengduan Mountains, with an altitude of 7556 meters, longitude 141.8 degrees east, and latitude 29.6 degrees north. It is the first peak of Sichuan Province and is known as the "king of the mountains". Gongga Mountain is composed of a huge shiny granite intrusion body with strict structure and hard texture. Under the long-term cold weathering effect, it is steep as cutting, climbing is not easy, and the Gongga Mountain is far away, like a huge pyramid, standing on the peaks, tall and steep, and magnificent. Gongga Mountain is one of the most developed peaks of China's glaciers. Hundreds of glaciers, covering an area of 300 square kilometers, of which Hailuogou glacier is 30 kilometers long, an area of 220 square kilometers, and an altitude of 3,500 meters, are rare low-altitude glaciers in the world. The landscape of Gongga Mountain is complex, the bioclimatic belt is vertically distributed, and the plants and animals grow well. Gongga Mountain is a resort for mountaineering and mountain tourism. There are more than 20 peaks above 5,000 meters above sea level around Gongga Mountain. Among them: Zhongshan Peak altitude 6,886 meters, Edjia Peak 6618 meters, Redemai Peak 6549 meters, Bijia Mountain 5880 meters, Haizi Mountain 5878 meters, Baihai Zishan 5924 meters, Tianhai Zishan 6070 meters.
