Mrs Macquarie's Chair Review

Mrs McAuliffe's seat (Mrs Macquarie's Chair) is carved on a large exposed sandstone on a peninsula at the northeast end of the Sydney Royal Botanic Garden (Royal Botanic Gardens) in downtown Sydney, the capital of NSW. The peninsula itself is named Mrs McAuliffe's Cape (Mrs Macquarie's Point). The Madame McAuley seat is not actually a chair, but an open-air rock carved into the shape of a chair, with three steps, in memory of Madame McAuley carved by a craftsman in 1810.

It is only a narrow bay separated from the Sydney Opera House (Sydney Opera House), which is the best location to enjoy and shoot the Sydney Opera House and the Sydney Harbour Bridge (Sydney Harbour Bridge). Finding this chair really took me a lot of energy and time, because we are free, the whole process is done by walking, from the Royal Botanic Garden to walk all the way to the beach, the scenery is beautiful, you can see the Sydney Opera House and the bridge, it is a not to miss.

The first stop of the tour was the Royal Botanical Garden, which naturally led to Mrs. Macaulay's chair. Legend has it that the wife's husband, the Governor of Australia, comes here every day to look at the harbour and wait for her husband's boat to return. In modern society, when a person is not so tired, his wife's chair is the best place to shoot an opera house.

Hand carved piece of sandstone in the Domain but what's notable is the area surrounding it which has beautiful views of Sydney harbor and is a great place to enjoy the sunset.

There is actually the point of the Madame McAuliffe Observation Deck, a circular protruding platform, the best viewing spot of the Bay Bridge, and the chair of Mrs McAuliffe. Mrs McAuliffe's seat faces north, facing the bay (the entrance to Sydney Harbour), sitting on a stone chair is not visible to the Opera House and the Bay Bridge. In recent years, after media hype, Mrs. McAuliffe's seat has become a must-see for tourists, and it is crowded with tourists taking pictures every day; and the statue of Governor McAuliffe outside Hyde Park is rarely seen and photographed. Mrs. McAuliffe's name has overtaken her husband.
