The Museo dell'Opera del Duomo is a great, but small, art museum. Get there early to beat the crowds.

Museum behind Duomo. There is no line here, when you are inside, you can see the original door of paradise, Michelangelo 's "Florence Pieta" and many many more.

Filled with tons of artifacts from the original Duomo and Baptistry, the museum is not to be missed. It is home to the original doors from the Baptistry (The Gates of Paradise), which are displayed in temperature controlled containers. Don't miss it.
