Museo della Cattedrale Review

The Museum of the Cathedral of Ferrara is a very historic building and one of the core buildings of the Italian city of Ferrara, which was not damaged much during World War II and has preserved many important architectural details.

Introduction: Ferrara Cathedral was built in the 12th century AD, with a three-fold facade consisting of three layers of walls, each with a different style. The altar on the second floor of the church's central facade is beautiful, the upper biblical story "The Last Judgment", the sculpture is vivid, the middle layer through four characters crawling out of the coffin forest, depicting the concept of hell, and the lower layer of the carved porch platform, with the statue of the Virgin and the Son.

Ferrara is a very old European city. The culture of this city is very characteristic and a very famous place. The church museum is also a very atmospheric building complex, and the environment is very good.

The main entrance is under repair and you can't see the beautiful reliefs. You can visit it for free, you can't take pictures, pay attention to wearing it. There are many murals and oil paintings in the church, and the roof reliefs are gorgeous and worth visiting.

Inside, the statue of the Virgin Mary created by Quercea is displayed, as well as several oil paintings of Tura, pictures of St. George, Raptors and Angels, and some shallow reliefs reflecting the years, are the highlights here.
