The Old Castle Museum is located in the medieval castle of the same name, close to the Adj River, which surrounds the old town, and has a bridge to the other side. From 1959 to 1973, the famous architect Carlo Scapa (Carlo Scarpa) designed and restored the building. The museum offers a variety of artifacts and artworks from Verona's history, especially the Verona Paintings.
