Not to be outdone by the Gucci Museo there is the Ferragamo Museum for the shoe lovers in all of us. He started in Florence but did not achieve fame till he moved to Beverly Hills and was discovered by the Hollywood star set. He custom made shoes for the greatest stars of the day. He moved back to his hometown of Florence and continued to make beautiful shoes. You can see the history and the celebrity shoes in this sweet space that was his workshop. Oh and you can buy shoes next door in the store.

The Figramu Museum is really a simple museum, and you can see quite interesting things here. Figramu is also a very historic building. This place is also very simple and very touristy.

The main collection and exhibition of Ferragamo's life and work. The museum displays footwear models and finished models from the Ferragamo family since the 1920s, as well as costumes and handbags designed since the 1950s. Important exhibits include more than 100,000 pairs of shoe models designed by brand founder Savato Ferragamo over a 40-year career.
